    Re: something

....and actually Rosemary, and anyone else with forum-writing capability, in the absence of the VC but no lack of 'viewers', is it (legally-speaking)possible to post an email address whereby anyone wanting to contribute a post but can't, can send an email and we can post it for them (provided it's clean and courteous!)? It's just that, well, I went to the Curzon yesterday and enjoyed the film immensely as did, I think, everyone else (good heavens, Mr. S wasn't kidding when he said that the old woman was old - she made Sain Zahoor look positively youthful and he's wrinklier than a petrified bogman!). It would be so lovely to be able to read someone else's comments for a change!

    Re: something

I'm not 100% sure of the legality, I could try and waylay one of our elusive IT staff at work and ask them, as I am in the office pretty much all day tomorrow. Well more likely - ascending stairs to the gods (!) in the 3rd floor.

    Five things strike me:-

    (1) It would be good to have more peoples' comments
    (2) It might create a lot of work for the person who receives/posts the comments
    (3) BBC website do not post comments immediately via music message boards - is moderated before posting (and you have to tell them your age when you register!) i think it is under 16's who are banned rather than sain zahoor lookalikes!
    (4) Wouldn't it be easier in the long run to fix the thing.
    (5) Would we need the permission of Sumit/Nitin?

Ah, yes, well ??.. point 2 entered my head round about mid-afternoon when it dawned on me that we might unlock a floodgate of pent-up postings! Then again, it was never THAT busy before? apart from the adbot activity of course!

    Re: something

It's yoga - not laughter therapy. More stretching than rolling - a bit like this thread.

    Re: something

think I don't get told when I get replies any more so was excited to see the thread that my stich was running. Thanks for the welcome back Buga - nice to see you've been keeping everyone in high spirits while I've been away You make me laugh and I believe N has been amused enough to reply to you too! You remind me of someone I used to work with who was a comedian in his spare time.

This latest Nitin extravaganza sounds really special. Did you have to flick each other around with the elastic bands - I didn't quite get that bit, I only fly in my dreams. Oh yeah, what's wrong with Rumi Buga? I did consider changing it but a little bit of well thought mysticism never hurt anyone. Forgive me if I'm not keeping up with the chat but not sure how to change the option thing so as to get notified of replies.

    Progressively, xx

    Re: something

Thank you for the compliment - it's a whole forum effort though! Not just people writing but also people who click on the topic links by mistake, , thereby causing us to mistakenly believe that somebody, other than ourselves, reads our nonsense!!!

Anyway, the fiver's in the post!

    .... N who?...

Do I really have to explain the elastic thing? Nah, I think that moment has passed - besides, your idea of flicking people with elastic bands.... have you thought of marketing it? I mean, if you put together some fancy bands and a rulebook, make a video of your mates, post-pub, flicking eachother and launch it as THE new party game for grown-ups! Just think - you could outsell all other games, including that spotty one!

"Hundreds of thousands of years I was flying
to and fro involuntarily, like a mote in the air.
If I have forgotten that time and state,
Yet the migration in sleep recalls it to my memory."

I have no problem with Rumi - beautiful poetry - harped on about Shams a fair bit!!!

Incase you haven't received an email alert or haven't logged in yet, I have sent you a PM about changing your settings in your Profile. It should work OK. If it doesn't, let us know - it'll give us something new to winge about it!!!

Oh yes, and don't worry Rhian, like your old workmate, I'm not about to give up my dayjob either!!!

Unfortunately Buga, I think college students have already beaten you to that one. And origami folding during talks on drama careers (if that is not an oxymoron).

    Re: something

Hey guys...It is indeed called that - have a flyer somewhere round the house. But it is not due out until 2008 - no month given. So that gives him some flexibility as to when ...... In the meantime, I think Nitin is busy writing film soundtracks.
