Buga, I checked with a male colleague to settle this. As a self confessed music fan and fashion victim, he confirmed it was a cardigan, because it was knitted. He said he rather liked it and wouldn't mind one himself - and in a tasteful shade of navy. I rest my case!

LONDON UNDER SOUND OF MAN WAFFLING
Thankfully Rosemary doesn't mind putting up with the occasional ribbing..... or a few rows of garter! If you haven't seen it already, check the video out on the Electric Proms page..... http://www.bbc.co.uk/electricproms/2008/artists/nitinsawhney/ ...... marvel at Mr. Gormley's amazing artwork in full, glorious, err, monochrome and feast your ears on some juicy extracts from the forthcoming album ( 3 DAYS TO GO!!!! ) ....or, at least, you can try to....unfortunately, there's some really irritating bloke rambling on all the way through it. What a nerve!!!

Re: LONDON UNDER SOUND OF MAN WAFFLING
Hmmm maybe a hoodie. Perhaps like Natty, he wants us to give a hoodie a hug! One of the other guys in the office described Nitin's top as a hybrid. Somehow I can't imagine anyone saying "It's a bit cold tonight, I think I will put on my hybrid." Anyway I will leave the knitting to you Buga, before I become unravelled. I enjoyed the link and sent it to a friend. I seem to be dogged by technical failure though. Not only is my email down, but Facebook is temporarily down so I can't embed the video in my page.

Re: LONDON UNDER SOUND OF MAN WAFFLING
Nitin being pigeon-holed as a "Hoodie"? That's a first!!! Anyway, you'll need a step ladder to hug that Hoodie, and not just to get onto the stage.... haven't you noticed how tall he is?

Buga, I need a stepladder to reach most things - top shelves of cupboards, tops of pictures etc. Hi ho, hi ho ........ well maybe not a dwarf, but still short at 5' 2".

Re: LONDON UNDER SOUND OF MAN WAFFLING
5' 2" ? You'll need more than a step ladder.... unless you apply some 'lateral' thinking...... perhaps you could sneak up on him and catch him from behind (does that need editing?).... you know, nothing violent, just a quick tap behind the knees with the ladder, sufficient enough to cause his legs to buckle, and then you could give him a jovial squeeze without getting a crick in your neck. On the other hand, there's the problem of his martial arts training... he might just 'sense' your presence as you approach, consider it to be a threat and.... unleash those deadly legs!!!! And if you think that I'm going to spend next Friday night hanging around A & E while they're prising his shoe out of your ribcage, you can think again! Maybe finding a shorter hoodie to hug might be a better solution...a very, very short hoodie perhaps.....

Re: LONDON UNDER SOUND OF MAN WAFFLING
Gosh Buga, you will frighten the man to death ...... except there is very little chance of this happening in a huge gig. Anyway he would hear me coming. This week a friend said that I would never make a burglar as you could hear me coming from the sound of my bangles rattling. I think he must have been reading "Burglar Bill" too often to the children at school. On a more serious note, I will frightened of hugging anyone soon. Our work code on conduct says we are not to touch students - which might be fair enough with under 18's, or even some of the older "street boys". Today I was listening to a lady who had some very sad news, but was worried about hugging or touching her on the arm, which I felt she needed. She is learning English in the college I go into, so technically could be one of my clients. In fact I shouldn't even be talking to her outside work! Rosemary

Quote: "Gosh Buga, you will frighten the man to death ...... " Well, I am bit of a hugger when the mood takes me but I think I'd draw the line at going anywhere near someone who appears to have worn the same t-shirt for the past decade!!! If you change your mind Rosemary, I'll hold your bangles for you.
