BBC radio and tv coverage of Electric Proms gig

Yesterday I dashed to get a copy of the Radio Times to find this out.

The highlights of Nitin's Roundhouse gig, as well as that of The Last Shadow Puppets are broadcast on BBC2 TV on Friday 24th October between 11.35 and 12.35. It might also be worth checking the red button - if you have digital coverage - to see if there is anything longer. There is also coverage on BBC 6 music between 7pm and 9pm.  This should be available on the bbc website too, so if you missed it you can listen again for up to a week afterwards.

Re: BBC radio and tv coverage -not just the Electric proms

Just discovered Nitin was on Bobby Friction and Nihal last week.  Still a day or two to catch it on "listen again"   www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/bobbyandnihal/

will it not be like 2006 when you could view full gigs on the electric proms webpage for up to a week after the event.

if so great I know what I will be watching for the next couple of weeks

     Hi winningdays,

I don't know yet if it is going to be on the web.  Just had a phone call from a colleague to say there is an interview with Nitin on the red button today, and that the Friday gig will be on interactive (red button) all day Saturday.

Will keep my eyes open - got to dash now, as I have to get home and out to yoga class.

I've tracked the following information down from a BBC press release

Online – performances will be available to watch for a week after the festival along with photos and interviews at bbc.co.uk/electricproms.

Will be taking my lady to the gig at the Anson Rooms in Bristol next Wednesday so looking forward to that too, should be a good week.

Ah, now, she's called Anoushka Shankar....you might've heard of her sitar-playing father..... his name is Ravi....Big Smile
